A few months ago, one of our office computers was plagued with an adware called Mirar Toolbar.  You know what Mirar is or you would not be reading this article.  Mirar made working on that computer almost impossible.  So we searched the Internet like you are.  We found a quick, effective and inexpensive way to remove the Mirar Toolbar at a site called appropriately enough RemoveMirar.Info .  We were so pleased that we contacted them and received permission to re-print the information here.  We hope it helps you as much as it has helped us.

How to Remove Mirar Toolbar and Mirar Spyware from your computer:

You’ve got the Mirar toolbar on your web browser and if you are like me, you think it is the most obnoxious device yet devised by mankind. And if you are like me, all you want to do in the whole world is remove the Mirar toolbar from your computer. Every time you do a search, Mirar does a search and forces you to look at ads that you aren’t looking for. These ads pop up and take up a large section of your viewing screen and block the content on the pages you were trying to find.

If you are like me, you don’t even know how you ended up with Mirar on your computer. I think mine came in with a Kazaa download.

Mirar had been pure torture for my wife and I.  You have tried to remove it on your own and you even tried to contact Mirar. You found no help at the Mirar site. Its almost like they don’t want you to remove this nasty little advertising machine that forces you to look at it! 

You also found out that it is nearly impossible for the average person to remove Mirar on their own. Then you visited two or three web sites that had instructions for how to remove Mirar software from your computer and you found out that you would need to be some kind of computer wiz kid to follow dozens of precise instructions using terms and HTML code that you do not understand. And these instructions came with all kinds of dire warnings about what would happen if you did it wrong.

What I did to Remove Mirar from my Computer Forever!  Fast! Easy! & Simple!

It turned out to be simple to remove the Mirar toolbar from my computer forever. Reading on various blogs and other web sites I found a wonderful software called Spyware Doctor. I was skeptical. Would it really remove Mirar from my computer once and for all. The Mirar pop ups had been on my computer for almost three months. We were desperate.

It had made getting on the computer so unpleasant, my wife and I had almost quit using the computer at home altogether. We did not care what it cost. If it could make the Mirar toolbar go away, we would pay it so that we could enjoy the use our $1,800 home computer again. We found that Spyware Doctor cost less than a single trip to the local computer repair store.

The ad for Spyware Doctor also said it was great at removing many other types of spyware from computers. So we bought it. I am not a computer guru, but it only took me about 20 minutes to read the instructions and download it on to my computer. It downloaded a lot faster than my Norton Anti Virus software. After downloading the Spyware Doctor software, I ran a scan for infections. My computer which had also been running very slowly had over 100 spyware and adware "infections" on it including the Mirar toolbar.

It is important to note that my Norton Anti Virus had discovered none of these spyware infections. Once I hit delete, they were all gone.  My computer ran faster and most of all the obnoxious Mirar toolbar and all of its unwanted pop up ads were gone forever!!!!
